Here's the second of my northern Ontario skylines. Sault Ste. Marie. Located in Northcentral Ontario bordering Michigan's Sault Ste. Marie. It is a huge city with steel and paper production, it is the home of Algoma University, Sault College, and has a significant point on the St. Marys River, where the famous Sault Locks are and is the home city of the OHL team Wayne Gretzky played for in his OHL days, the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds.

Population: 74,000
Metro Population: 80,000

Looks like a nice city from some of those angles, but its skyline is small and could use some more buildings. 6/10.
5/10 Looks like a beautiful town, with another nice marina and some interesting locks, but I don't see a good pic of downtown.
Where's the skyline? I give it less than 3, sorry. :(
wow! that really is a huge city....um actualy no im being sarcastic. I have been there, it is not huge whatsoever....and those picks suck (sorry if i am mean, i can't help it)

here are some of the tricky islands inbeetween the 2 cities

BTW, how exactly is the name pronounced?
Just wondering . . .
2/10

No skyline to speak of - apart from the tent, and a few groundscrapers.

If you think I'm being harsh then remember: we are rating the skyline, not the town itself! I'm sure it's a nice place to visit.
^ I know, you're rating the skyline and all, but I want to display the Northern Ontario cities and see how they fare, because despite the fact they are small, I believe they have some sort of skyline. :)
Looks like a great city, but thats only a couple of buildings, 5.
MattSal, the same is pronounced,

SOO SAINT MARIE
Very small skyline, but not bad for a town of 80 000 people, 5,5/10
Can people stop posting these cities with little to no skylines?
I seen a hockey game there once. It is a clean place. You should post Michigan's Soo.
Got my braces there, ALONG time ago. :D Nice place. :)
BTW, I'd love for someone to post some pics of Marquette, Michigan. Have not seen that place in over 20 years now. It's Upper Michigan's largest city. Then do Escanaba, then Houghton/Hancock. Maybe Iron Mountain, too. ;)
Unimpressive, and the pics actually make it look better. I am on the U.S. side a few times a year and it is cluttered with low slung examples of poor architectural taste. Not nice to look at from the U.S angle. Does everyone in Canada live in apartments?

what are you talking about? "does everyone in canada live in apartments" theres like 4 apartment buildings in a sea of houses.
question is, does everyone in the usa live in a single family detached house?
