Hi & welcome TradeCenterBuilder. We all mostly use 'Microsoft Paint' to do paper model. Inside there, scaling for printing just set in print setup. i usually try and error first before comfirm the scale. Ex. for building like old WTC-413m to scale 1:1700 it measure 24.3 cm.

How do you get that 24.3cm? What equation is done to find the size needed for that scale?
Ok, 413m = 41300cm. At scale 1:1700, [email protected] So 413/[email protected] If scale 1:1500, 413/15=27.5cm. In MsPaint, u can first try print at 100% scale. Don't print all drawing, it waste your ink. Just take only the tower straight line to test print. Almost all model use scale 107% to match 1:1700 scale.
