Sea Island, GA was rated the 6th priciest place to live in the world according to Askmen.com. They got their information from some credible sites. Any thoughts?

Do you mean in the United States?

Ben Affleck and Jeniffer
Lopez had a house there.
Is was down there Spring Break (didn't take photos, it was night). Just for fun, I picked up a little real estate booklet.

I fainted (well, not really).

Some of the houses down there were going for millions of dollars! It's strange too, cause the small downtown area isn't all that rich.

Nope, the article said the world. London had the most expensive place I believe.

Actually, Affleck/Lopez was on a "hammock" closer to Savannah... in Liberty County. Sea Island is just a small extension of St. Simon's Island, off the coast from Brunswick in Glenn County (The Marshes of Glenn).
there's no way in hell it's "6th most expensive place to live" in the world; maybe 6th highest real estate, or 6th highest real estate in the U.S., but in the world, no. i saw that list last summer, the only american city in the top 10 was NYC.

London was #2; i noted this b/c i was going there; Tokyo #1, Moscow #3.

I have never heard of it, does anyone have pictures of it... is it just a resort/vacation spot?

Mainly just a resort Island. I dont even think too many people live permanantly on the island, just luxury vacation homes and some wealthy retirees. The Island along with many of the other "Golden Isles of Georgia" are unique and beautiful. The G-8 conference was held at the 5-star Cloister Hotel on Sea Island, this year.
