Seneca Falls is a village in Seneca COunty, on the Erie Canal. The village's population is around 7,000. Seneca Falls is the birthplace of the Women's Rights Movement. Some also believe that Seneca Falls was the basis for the fictional town of Bedford Falls in "It's A Wonderful Life".

The Wesleyan Chapel at the Women's Rights National Historic Park on Fall Street at Mynderse Street. The first Women's Rights Convention was formaed by Elizabeth Cady Stanton and held in this building on July 19 & 20, 1848. The convention was attended by around 300 people, both men and women.

The Seneca Knitting Mills, built in 1844 along the Erie Canal. The building has not been used since 1999, but will be renovated to house the National Women's Hall of Fame.
