^^Looking at the render, and then looking at the location on a map, it looks like that small park to the south of this development doesn't exist yet. Is there a plan to turn that block into a park and reroute the road surrounding it? That'd be great it there was.
That park is one of part of YONGSAN LINK project which connected between yongsan station with Yongsan national park(almost same size with central park of NY)

But won sung e mayor didn't anything about those park project. So now stalled situation for many years

the small park to the south is where the green arrow is pointing (blue arrow are the raemian twin towers, and the red arrow are the prugio apartments)

Currently, instead of the park, there is a really cool 포장마차 (pojangmacha) area.
Its a place with tented bars and restaurants and everyday there are people eating and drinking until 3-4 am:

I hope they keep this area, its the only thing that makes Yongsan feel alive and fun.
but i guess the local government or real estate developers will kick them out :eek:hno:

friend
I know your enthusiasm about seoul.
sometime we have different opinions about seoul's future.

in this case those street vendors really dirty business in korea
they are all illegal and those small vendors most of them support by illegal( imagine who are watching back them)

You know those small shop almost same price with small korea apartment.
I know that exotic atmosphere good for foreigners.
Because I like manila's slum and crowd market than luxury makati area.

but as seoulite who live in there really headache problem is those street vendors. they must demolish all. But nobody can't touch them(either local government or real estate) If they want kick out from there they must negotiation with them with cash or another hottest spot for vendors.
think about they occupy public waking board illegally and then asking money or right for business. This is korean style dirty business.
Those illegal vendors are korean mafia

The design looks similar to Galeria Foret and some residential tower near Yongsan/Seogyo with a landbridge in between
RIGHT similar with galeria in sungsu
