Sheikh Faisal Bin Qassim Al-Thani Museum

This is a private museum of more than 3,000 items related to Arab and Islamic history. The museum is located 25km away from Doha in the desert at Sahaniya road. Sheikh Faisal Bin Qassim Al-Thani began collecting his items more than 40 years ago.

I just found out about this museum. It sounds really interesting, and I would love to have my own museum too someday (maybe right next to Omar's car museum hopefully) Is it famous in Qatar, and has anyone been there?
