It somehow gives me the impression of Mangga Dua, as a mid-class mall, but i dont know the truth. Does anyone know? Like who are the vendors anmd stuffs?

Interior of SUdirman Place, to be honest, I wasn't impressed AT ALL with this mall. The place was empty and deserted, hardly any branded shops were open, and the main mall (not the branded section with the fake clouds) did not look classy at all...also, some of the goods in Nichol Edwards were extremely overpriced, like this top for girls (the polo type with two bottons on the top), priced at Rp1,150,000!!! OMG...but they "discounted" it 70%..hahahaha...still way too expensive IMO. So not worth it..

one proven way to make to mall crowded quickly is to change its name into Sudirman Mobile Phone Center Just joking.

But seriously, they must find a way to compete with Senayan Plaza and Senayan City.

faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan Sudirman Place sepi :
- Tower Apartemen yang on-hold, kelihatan belum jadi, sehingga pengunjung mengira mall tsb belum buka
- Lokasinya lebih cocok buat dijadikan Office Tower
- Terlalu berani memakai Department Store yang brandnya belum kuat, Nichol Edwards

Kesimpulan :

Mall bakal lumayan rame kalo apartemen udah jadi, minimal udah ada pengunjung tetap, penghuni apartemen

well.. sudirman place emang di targetin buat middle-upper class, but mostly for businessmen.

sadly, most of the shops opened there are actually owned by the mall owner..

the only thing i like from sudirman place is Bali Deli. the food is p.r.e.t.t.y excellent

Jakarta Doesn't need the Malaysian Great Sale or The Singapore Great Sale cuz its Always Cheap but People Don't really notice that. I mean where Else in the world can you buy a DVD CD that good for only $0.05 cents?

Dhiz one sure be the 1 I'd luvv to see when it's done later on. Cuz Plaza Indonesia bisa di bilang adalah salah satu mall/shopping center landmark yg lebih terkenal di bandingin mall2 yg laen2/terutama yg baru2. Ato bisa jg di bilang sbg pelopor dari perkembangan bisnis urban development di field retail.

ps: betcha it's the most-known shopping mall among the expats that live/had lived in Jkt.
