nigerians respect the rich way too much for this to happen. killing if just for poor people.
no where in the world is this distinction more evident than in nigeria. this will only make the ones on trial for corruption be found falsely innocent more often. our judiciary system doesn't even have the balls to put these people behind bars.
plus the ethnic situation. do you think an igbo president can put a fulani politician to death without the country going up in flames? When Nzeogwu killed the Saraduna he cited corruption as a motivation, the result was pogroms and biafra.
we need balls in this country, enough to make politics no longer a rich man's occupation. make it mandatory to hold a degree, make it mandatory to wear a uniform, make it mandatory to have to live in a gov designated house (which will be humble and livable) during your tenure, decrease the cost of politics, make various forms of expensive campagning illegal, make it mandatory that politicians children while they're in office must go to school in nigeria, make it illegal for political family members to shop outside of the country, make them drive a humble ugly car, ban motorcades, make political office no less flashy than any other civil servant job and you'll see those that want to play Rick Ross will look for another avenue to get money or flash. Most importantly ween the country off oil, funnel mopre oil into banks with the exception they have to lend it to the people, fund states through taxes and implement real federalism. most importantly eliminate the office of the presidency, it serves NO purpose in Nigeria. the presidency is the cause of most of nigeria's big time corruption because governors steal to contest or fund contestants in their parties and the winner rewards his sponsors handsomely while the loser goes bat shit and sets the country on fire cause they just lost billions of dollars.
there's no need for all of this, the presidency is not needed in this country, lets be more creative.
