Where is this? South Loop?
River North, around Ohio and Wells I believe.
Is the design Retro posted the design they are going with?

I saw some pics somewhere of a model that looked like a big version of Prairie Pointe in Central Station. The post said it was a model of Silver Tower....
Its good to see a glassy tower getting underway in rivernorth! I'm sick of all the towers like the elysian ( :puke: ) <- lol

The pic above is what's on both the official website (www.silvertowerchicago.com) and the brokers website (http://www.atproperties.com/07/devDetail.php?id=67). Would be shocked if it turned out looking any different.
Well I guess if you got to copy something in Chicago, it might as well be Contemporaine and Skybridge.

I just hope they don't copy the construction quality of Skybridge as well. I hear nothing but negative grumblings from people who looked at units there.

Retro only posted shots of the back of the model, which DOES look similar to Prairie Pointe in massing. You can see a little bit of the front in one of the shots, though, which does look like the rendering as far as I can tell.
Silver Tower is under construction. I saw drilling for a caisson on the east section of the site at 11:55 am today.

corner of Ohio and Franklin river north
It's definitely good to see the western side of River North see more and more development.

I agree. I really like the looks of this building. funny, I used to park in this lot at my old job. parking lots are a thing of the past.
