I give a damn. Thanks for posting
Can someone explain why the Lion City is shy of the 300m barrier?
Singapore has five airports (military and civil) on this small island. That's why there is a hight limit of 280 metres in the city center and this is already the fourth tower with that height.

There is one tower with 290 metres height though, as it a little further away from the airports. Maybe there are possible spots for 300+ metre towers somewhere in Singapore, but those would be outside the city center, so it is unlikely that a tall building will be built there.

However in Johor Bahru, just north of Singapore, 400+ metre towers will be built, but that's already another country (Malaysia) and they do not care very much about flight paths of Singapore.

Lol, I was in Raffles Place last December on business and totally never noticed this tower's construction site at all... Seems kinda underrated but what a gem, I must say (and a new, wider companion to the three 280m towers in this part of town)!
