Singapore is a mix of cultures - Chinese, Malay, Indian, Arabic, Eurasian, European. An Asian emporium, a bazaar...

These cultures can be seen in the city's architecture, especially the historical buildings left behind from before WW2. Many have been restored and form dramatic contrasts with the skyscrapers of the modern city state.

Love the historic contrast in Singapore, loved the way that instead of demolishing a row of run down shop houses and replacing it with a mini mall, they have done them up and created a truely unique shopping and living environment.
