Its possible, but knowing the lay of the land there are actually a few towers there and they sit in a bit of a dip. This is a list of the tallest towers in Sunderland, it feels [wholly unscientific] to be a bit north of Silksworth, perhaps more city centre?

This is the site line from Hedworth Court, Hendon to Hadrians Tower. So it could be one of them.

Also in cycling too. Clearly someone was such a fan of mobikes that when they left the city they bought one to keep alive the memory of gearless cycling up hills before dropping a bike into the Tyne. Wonder if it was expensive. I mean they couldn't have 'half inched' it could they?

Mobikes, should you still have an interest in this ingot of aluminium it's regularly parked by the new cafe in the mining institute...

Just to make you all aware that there is a new poll currently running in City Talk for the Future Skylines. My original idea for twenty cities throughout the UK and Ireland didn't get very far so the new poll has ten entrants from GB, and Newcastle isn't one of them I'm sorry to say. I felt that Manc, Pool and Leeds were enough for the north. Maybe in the future, we can do the bigger poll.

Still, the voting is open to everybody. Three votes each.
