The Center for Energy, Energy Sources, Environment and New Technologies is being constructed by Utilities Ltd. in Sliven, Bulgaria. The Center will be a ground for distribution and promotion of new technologies in the energy and HVAC sector with an emphasis on renewable energy sources and new efficient materials preserving the environment.

The idea behind the project comes from the objective to work on projects for effective use of energy. Our task will be to find matching projects (between investors and developers), look for optimal solutions, and create partnerships for their implementation, while monitoring the whole process. The proximity that we have to the end customer, our continuously expanding information database, and our team of energy management professionals that are currently being trained, will enable us to take the place of that missing intermediary between the demand and supply of energy projects.

The Center is being constructed in the form of an eco-building. Various energy-saving and renewable energy source technologies (listed below) will be integrated during construction.

Utilities Ltd. has a pending certification under article 16, paragraph 5 and article 18, paragraph 2 of the Bulgarian national law on Energy Efficiency in accordance with the requirements of Directive 2002/91/EU of the European Parliament and the Council of the European Union concerning the energy performance of buildings. The company is a member of the National Installation Union, which is a promoter for a better and more efficient work environment for energy and installation companies.

Newly Built Factory For Dairying And Dairy Products, Sliven


The structure consists of three buildings: production building, subsidiary building and office building.

The production building has steel structure (about 300t), area 4880m2 and volume 40000m3. The walls and the roofs are from thermo-insulating panels from "Romakowski"GmbH (about 17000m2), the flooring is from acid-resistant clinker tiles glued and jointed with epoxy glues from"Oxymahon" (5000 m2) Greece.

The subsidiary building has prefabricated reinforced concrete structure with an area of 900m2 and volume 5500m3. It is covered with 15m long pretensioned 2T panels. The floors are from burnished concrete, processed with surface hardener.

The office building has monolith skeleton reinforced structure with an area of 3x300m2 and volume 3900m3.The structure of the building is erected for 40 days by the use of formwork system "PERRI". Finishing works include flooring with Spanish granitogres tiles, false ceiling "Armstrong", aluminuim window frames and internal doors, air-conditioning from "Carrier".

Auto Exhibition Hall And Service Renault

The construction site consists of two buildings - Auto exhibition hall and Auto service. Auto exhibition hall is monolithic constructed. The flooring is made of ceramic tiles. The construction of the Auto service is a metal precast unit. The walls and the roof are coated with thermo panels. The floor is fulfilled of finely grinded concrete. The general built-up area is approximately 650 m2.

Residential Building With Shops In Sliven

The seventh floor building is divided into two sections: first section inludes 24 apartments, 3 stores and 12 garages. Second section includes: 15 apartments, 2 stores, and 7 garages. The total build-up area is 1240m2. The construction is monolith constructed. The roof has a wood construction with heat insulation and bituminous tiles.

Office Building, Sliven

Administrative Building (U/C)


Total built-up area is 525m2. The bigger portion of the building is three-storey and the remaining takes four stories, with basement. It comprises office spaces for the management and servicing structure of the company. The structure is entirely brick, with pillars and slabs of reinforced concrete, exterior and interior brick walls and walls from Ytong aerated concrete joint blocks. Space is arranged around an "atrium" which runs through the three floors. A conference hall is situated on the third floor. The vertical connection is by means of stairwell and panoramic elevator. The basement, besides technical facilities, houses food establishment. The architectural arrangement of the building includes the construction of ventilated front with ceramic covering tiles, Etalbond covering and suspended aluminum front.

Trade and service center KIROV, Sliven


The project consists of show-room, offices, service base and open parking with 32 parking places. The trade centre has a total built-up area of 1626 m2. The construction is a metal structure with steel framework and beams.

On the first level are situated shops for professional machinery, service of light mechanization, storage for grease materials, service for electric instruments, stock storage, public, technical and installation premises.

The administrative part is disposed on the second level. The principle of implementation of the office area is "open space". It includes office-hall, meeting-hall, kitchenette and sanitary premises.

The partition walls of the steam-generator premise are made of double layer plasterboard and mineral wool filling.

The outer surrounding walls are built of façade thermo-panels "Konti" with 6 cm polyurethane filling mounted on a steel wall guides. The roof is made of thermo-panels. The flooring of the building is a reinforced finely grinded concrete.

Extention of New Finishing (dressing) Workshop, Sliven

The project is almost finished. The structure is from prefabricated concrete with area of approximately 5 00m2. The roof is from 24m long 2T panels. The waterproofing is from "Flag". The cladding is from thermo-isulating panels - about 2 000m2. The flooring are from burnished concrete.

A 33-metres tall cross will overlook Sliven from the “Barmuk bair” hill north of the city.

The idea belongs to the local businessmen Dimitar and Zafir Gochevs. Sliven metropolitan Joanikij heads the initiation committee and the mayor Jordan Lechkov is due to join it. The diocese council has chosen the project among several others.

The brothers announced they could pay for and put the cross, but insist the locals to contribute too for spiritual support. The cross is to be installed on Saint Dimitar day, the Day of Sliven.

Three years ago the businessmen donated to the Sliven diocese the Holy trinity Orthodox chapel which they built with their own funds.

Близо 33-метров кръст ще бъде вдигнат на Бармук баир край Сливен. Идеята е на братята бизнесмени Димитър и Зафир Гочеви. Митрополит Йоаникий е начело на инициативния комитет. Очаква се в него да се включи и кметът Йордан Лечков.

Епархийският съвет е избрал проекта сред няколко предложения. Братята обявиха, че могат и сами да платят и поставят кръста, но държат да се включат и сливенчани за духовна подкрепа. Светинята ще бъде поставена на Димитровден, когато е празникът на града.

Гочеви направиха преди години със свои средства православния параклис "Света Троица" и го подариха на сливенската митрополия.

Такова а положението и в голяма част от Югославия, от парк Чаир в Ниш през площад Калемегдан в Белград до Баш чаршия в Сараево. Явно поколенията след Освобождението тук и там не са сметнали за необходимо да заличат напълно следите от турското робство. Според мен това е по-скоро пропуск.

Един от кварталите в северната историческа част на моя град първо се е казвал Неохори, после Йенидже, и едва по-късно Ново село, а друг - Кумлук, т.е. пясъчник. Татар мезар е гробище на татарската сган, набързо измряла заради зараза в собствената си мръсотия скоро след изселването си от руските степи ня мястото на избягалите българи.

В следосвобожденските години настъпва вълна на "пурификация" на езика и топонимията. Така например бюрекчийниците стават баничарници. Кой днес знае какво означава думата казъм? Със смяната на поколенията изчезват един куп турцизми. Те така...

Нова православна църква “Св. Петка”

The first dig of the new Orthodox church “Saint Petka”, the biggest in Sliven thus far, is to be turned at the end of July, the mayor Jordan Levhkov announced at his monthly briefing.

As planned, the temple will tower on the hill south of Kaufland hypermarket. By preliminary calculations the construction expenses amount to at least 3 mln levs. In the spirit of Christian traditions the municipality relies largely on donations, both in cash and building materials.

The new church will be 29,7 metres tall and will cover a developed area of 1148 squake metres.



Първата копка на новата православна църква “Св. Петка”, най-голямата в Сливен досега, ще бъде направена в края на юли, съобщи кметът Йордан Лечков на месечния си брифинг.

Както беше запланувано, храмът ще се издига на хълма южно от хипармаркет Кауфланд. По предварителни изчисления разходите по изграждането възлизат на най-малко три млн. лева. В духа на християнските традиции общината разчита предимно на дарения, както в пари, така и в строителни материали.

Новата църква ще бъде висока 29,7 м и ще заема площ от 1 148 кв. м.

€ 31.5 mln. shopping centre in Sliven

LONDON (Thomson Financial) - EuroPean Convergence Development Company Plc., managed by Charlemagne Capital Limited, together with another entity in which Charlemagne Capital has an interest, signed an agreement with Property Capital Group to buy a 42.5 percent stake in Trade Centre Sliven (TCS), a company set up to develop a new shopping and leisure centre, Trade Centre Sliven, in Sliven, Bulgaria.

Property Capital Group, part of the Bulgarian Kronos Group, will have a 50 percent interest in TCS and the remaining 7.5 percent will be held by another company in which the Charlemagne Group has an interest as investment manager.

European Convergence's participation in the Sliven project will be by way of the purchase, in two stages, of a total of 42.5 percent of the share capital of TCS for 3.825 million euros and, if required, the contribution of a shareholder's loan of up to 2 million euros, the company said in a statement.

Total development costs of the Sliven project are estimated at about 31.5 million euros and the project has an expected duration of 33 months.

Управляваната от „Charlemagne Capital” „European Convergence Development Company” обяви, че е подписала споразумение с българската „Пропърти Капитал Груп” АД за придобиване на 42,5 % дялово участие в “Търговски Център Сливен" ЕАД – дружество, специално създадено, за да инвестира в нов търговски център в Сливен.

„Пропърти Капитал Груп” ще участва с 50 % дял в “Търговски Център Сливен" ЕАД, а 7,5 % ще се контролират от друга компания, в която „Charlemagne Group” има дял.

Търговски Център Сливен ще бъде построен върху терен от 9,9 декара и ще е с РЗП 45,000 кв м. Стойността на проекта е 31,5 млн. евро. Очаква се сградата да бъде напълно готова в рамките на 33 месеца, съобщава Property Xpress.
