Kermanshah, the biggest city with a population of under one million. It is located in the predominantly Kurdish area of Iran.

Sanandaj another predominantly Kurdish city with a population of 311,446. Located in the province of Kordestan.

Rasht is a city with a population of 639,951 and is located in the north of Iran near the Caspian Sea. It is located in Gilan province. Football is a crucial part of this city and they have two teams, Sepidrood (playing in top flight) and Damash Gilan (playing in 3rd tier).

Bushehr is a city in the south of Iran on the Persian Gulf coast. It is the capital of Bushehr province and one of the busies ports in Iran. Bushehr has a population of around 200,000.

Bandar Abbas is another city on the Persian Gulf coast in the south of Iran with a population of 435,751. It is the capital of Hormozgan province and is a multi-ethnic city (Persians, Arabs, and Baloch all live toghether)

Babolsar is a city in the north of Iran on the Caspian coast. It is located in Mazandaran province and has a population of around 75,000. It is a popular touristic city for Iranians.
