Los Angeles, San Francisco, Phoenix, all being western cities that are prone to random weather patterns occasionally get snow. True, it rarely lasts very long, but it does happen.
What is more interesting to me is that Seattle and Portland used to get significant snow during the early and mid 1900's. But, lately, (last decade), it has been quite rare. Climate change? Maybe. Or just regular patterns. Who really knows, and is everyone as sick as I am as about our politicians trying to turn these natural patterns into a politcal issue? Give it a break. The weather will do whatever it wants to do, and humans have SO little to do with it, IMHO.
