Le président de la République, Ismaïl Omar Guelleh, a procédé hier dans la localité du Lac Assal au coup d’envoi de la construction de deux nouvelles unités de production industrielle. Ces deux entités industrielles produiront respectivement du bromure de sodium et de la soude caustique. Il s’agit en effet de matières premières très demandées sur le marché mondial. Le secteur du Lac-Assal se transformera ainsi en un site industriel.
Le directeur général de la société ‘’Salt Investissement’’, l’ambassadeur de chine à Djibouti et la conseillère économique de l’ambassade de Chine, ainsi que les représentants des sociétés chinoises partenaires dont la China Civil Construction Compagnie ‘’la CCCC’ et la ‘’Chandang Heidang Cheminical’’ ont participé à la cérémonie de pose des premières pierres de ces unités de production du bromure de sodium et de soude caustique.
Le bromure de sodium est un cristal blanc obtenu à partir de l’eau salée et qui intervient aussi bien dans l’industrie pharmaceutique que dans la réalisation d’une série de produits très utilisés tels que les pesticides et les extincteurs. Il entre également dans la fabrication des films photographiques.
Quant à la soude caustique, elle est surtout connue pour servir de matrice fondamentale à une gamme variée de savons tels que les détergents. Elle intervient aussi dans la réalisation d’autres produits, notamment les désinfectants et le détartrage des métaux.
Avec l’acquisition de ces deux appareils productifs, la république de Djibouti aura définitivement noué avec le rythme nécessaire à l’amorce d’une véritable activité industrielle efficiente sous ses cieux. Elle aura surtout avancé aussi dans sa quête légitime de promouvoir la création d’emplois tant recherchés dans notre pays à travers un processus de mise en service rapide d’une série d’usines et d’unités industrielles.
Après l’arrivée, l’accueil populaire réservé au Président et à sa délégation et la cérémonie de pose de la 1ère pierre de la future usine de production de bromure de sodium, place aux interventions officielles avec en premier le représentant de la société Salt investissement qui a lancé ce projet de bromure au lac Assal pour un investissement de plus de 220 millions de dollars.
Le représentant de la société Hazndonf Heidang Cheminical, spécialisée dans la production et la vente du brume de sodium, a promis que l’unité de production va occuper une place industrielle importante au niveau national. Et elle sera la 3ème usine de ce groupe au monde.
Le ministre des finances, Ilyas Moussa Dawaleh, a précisé que ce projet voit le jour grâce a l’initiative du président de la République qui a tissé des liens étroits avec la république de la Chine populaire.
Le président Guelleh est intervenu à son tour au podium pour rappeler la démarche de Djibouti en tant que pays industriel grâce aux richesses et aux partenariats stratégiques avec la Chine populaire. La concrétisation de l’usine de bromure est la première partie d’autres investissements qui vont suivre pour exploiter les richesses minières du Lac Assal et du Goubet, a-t-il dit.
« Lors de ma dernière rencontre avec le Président chinois, j’ai eu l’occasion de discuter avec lui et nous sommes disposés à attirer le maximum d’investissements vers notre pays. La Chine a promis d’investir dans notre pays qui va intégrer le grand projet de la route de soie qui passe par Djibouti», a expliqué en substance le chef de l’Etat.
PRESIDENT GUELLEH GIVES START FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF TWO INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTION UNITS IN LAKE ASSAL

Sodium bromide is a white crystal obtained from salt water and is used in the pharmaceutical industry as well as in the production of a series of widely used products such as pesticides and fire extinguishers. He is also involved in the production of photographic films.
As for caustic soda, it is best known for serving as a fundamental matrix for a wide range of soaps such as detergents. It is also involved in the production of other products, including disinfectants and decalcification of metals.
With the acquisition of these two productive devices, the Republic of Djibouti will definitely be knotted with the rhythm necessary for the beginning of a real efficient industrial activity under its skies. It will also have advanced in its legitimate quest to promote the creation of much-needed jobs in our country through a process of rapid commissioning of a series of factories and industrial units.
After the arrival, the popular reception reserved to the President and his delegation and the laying ceremony of the first stone of the future sodium bromide production plant, place the official interventions with first the representative of the company Salt Investment who launched this bromide project at Lake Assal for an investment of more than $ 220 million.

The completion of the bromide plant is the first part of other investments that will follow to exploit the mineral wealth of Lake Assal and Goubet, he said.

China promised to invest in our country that will integrate the great project of the Silk Road through Djibouti, "explained the head of state.
