Some of these look amazing (I love the villa in post #9 the most) but some look so tacky. :D

Glass cladding in the first house? Seriously...haha.

they should build more number #4 houses it really corresponds with the area

#9 could actually be something that those who want a contemporary feel to mogadishu could take as an inspiration while at the same time paying homage to old xamar cadeey by sticking to the beautiful yet simple white colours. This house would perfectly blend in with the white colour of the old xamar cadeey unlike these pink and blue houses we see nowadays.

I think it looks great for a city like Hargeisa which has many such structures. I do prefer the white-washed villas or local stone houses.
The 2 Hargeysa ones are great: simple, local forms, whitewashed and natural stones.

#2 Bosaso is beautiful. Reminds me of homes in the southwest of America.
#4 is also good for the eyes. It's my favorite. It's modern and consists of local materials. :banana:
