Handsome and very attractive city - so many beautiful buildings. It looks like a very nice city to live in as well. :)

whenever I see pics of Stockholm old town, I always think it's Warsaw old town, very similar feel. Looking forward to visiting this beautiful city soon :)

I just returned from a trip to Stockholm, and the Old Town was great! Never thought about the similarities between Stockholm and Warsaw before, but now that you say it I can kind of see what you mean.

Anyway, here are some pictures of Gustav III's Museum of Antiquities, located within the Royal Palace. Small as it may be, this was actually my favourite part of the trip:

I really enjoyed the House of Nobility as well:

I also just returned from a 5 day stay in Stockholm. Truly amazing. I didn't visit the antiquities museum of the royal palace but I was amazed by the amphibious nature of the city, unlike other canal cities I had visited and with gems like Gamla Stan, the Vasa, the City Hall, the Nordic romantic style of architecture, the moderna museet of Rafael Moneo ....
