well the heat won last night, and so clinched the overall best record in the east meaning that they've got homecourt advantage and the #1spot.

now were trying to get the best ovrall record in the league

the marlins won yesterday when they beat up on john smoltz and the braves 9-0 thanks to a grand salm by juan encarnacion.they play again tonight.they also had the largest opening day crownd in team history 52000+

the dolphins are sucking like usual, the draft is in late april and they will probably trade down and get antrell rolle from U.M. or get the running back from auburn.ricky is still planning to comeback maybe something 5 years from now since he owes wayne huizenga 8million.

the panthers are taking an extended offseason, and i heard that we recently got another minor league arena league football team, they play at the miami arena.

and the marlins beat the fukin braves 9-0 on opening day in front of almost 57,405! grandslam in the first inning! world series this year bitches!

lets not start about my poor dolphins...

ya uptown, the miami morays started this season at the miami arena as part of the national indoor football league (smaller than the arena football league (afl) but hey, another team is another team, and were gettin some use outta the miami arena

yea the dolphins are still my favorite miami team, although they suck

the heat and marlins right now just have a bunch of bandwagon fans which i refuse to be.

i support every miami team even the panthers

Count me one of the bandwagon Heat fans. Jumped on last season after the all-star break, and bought season tickets this year. Another reason was because the American Airlines Arena is only a few MetroMover stops from the new condo!!! (by the way...there are a few good apts in Brickell on the River ready for Sept occupancy!)
I attended more than half the Florida Panther Hockey games when they played in the Central Business District of Downtown, and have attended one in the last few years since they moved to Broward County.
My birthplace dictates that I emphatically follow Detroit teams...so on Sunday the 10th...look for the guy at the AAA with the #24 Bob Probert Red Wings Jersey with a #3 Wade jersey over it!!!!

I turned into a marlins fan for some ungodly reason in 2002. Now I think baseball is the best thing since sliced bread. I become a Heat fan last year too, when they made that great run at the end of the season, before that I was all about the hometown Magic.

Is there really anything wrong with bandwagon fans? It's the free market at work.

Why 'terrible pick' ? He's the best running back in the draft. And I wouldn't be surprised if he winds up being better than Rickey Williams.

i don't think he was better than cedric benson or cadalliac will. and i was for trading down and getting aaron rodgers.

w/e antrell rolle got picked 8th by arizona he probably the only UM player whos going in the 1st round, last year we had 5 go in the 1st round

I gotcha. Although I'm not overly impressed with Rogers. And Brown is the biggest, baddest, fastest and most durable back in the draft.

i don't like brown because he only had one good season.not that thats a big problem (willis mcghaee)but i wanna see i player that had atleast 2 good seasons

great Miami Heat advance to Round 2 of Playoffs,

swept up the nets dirty, won by over 10 points, with a 3 pointer by wade @ the buzzer.

great game,

next is either Chicago or Washington, next Sunday!!

So who do we want in the second round? Washington or Chicago? I'm thinkin Chicago is the bigger problem. There a hustling team and they just have determination. We would crush the Wizards and we'll beat either theam any way it goes.

I was hoping the Detriot-Philly series would last longer just to tire the Pistons out a little cause thats who we're gonna eventually meet in the Finals. Maybe their next series will go the distance. Sweeping the Nets was great cause now the guys can rest and Shaq can rest his big toe or pinky or whatever it is bothering him these days.. Go Heat!!!

i think washington is harder since they have jamison, arenas, and hughes

but chicago only has gordon and hinrich and alot of role players

so i hope we get chicago

Miami will crush whoever they play in the 2nd round. Like Cuban said it's definately gonna come down to Miami and Detroit in the eastern finals. This one is tough to call too.. on sportscenter they are predicting Detroit to take Miami since supposedly Shaq isn't 100%. However Miami can get out of the 2nd round quick & Shaq has ample resting time before taking on Detroit, Miami has a great shot. It's gonna be a hell of a series.

Remember last season...the two hotest teams in the NBA after the All-Star break were the Heat and Pistons.
Neither team had a "superstar"...the Pistons spanked Kobe and Shaq in a sweep.
One major difference this year...the Heat have a new superstar and another that is getting his proper recognition...can the Pistons spank these guys too...that's the big question. What an exciting time to live in MIAMI!!!!!!
