I'm pulling for the Heat, but I'm afraid they don't have anything for the Pistons.

Good for the Heat. This was a must-win situation. And they did (but, my God! Shaq's still abysmal from the FT line after lo these many years).

For what it's worth, though I was pulling for the Heat, based on their recent past performance against the Pistons, I'm surprised they took this series to seven. I think they played a tough series, and that they are just a half-notch away from a championship team.

I hope the Spurs demolish the Pistons. They aren't good enough to deserve the title.

If they're not good enough to win the title, then what does that say about the team they just beat ?

I think the Canes are going to be fine. But what was Kehoe smoking that got him so puffed up afterwards, saying that Miami was the better team ? You'd think such bravado would be more in keeping with a position coach other than the one whose charges surrendered a record nine sacks.

Why can the Dolphins not beat New York teams ?

Just take New York teams off the schedule and tha fins go the the playoffs every year.

Shoot, the fins probably couldn't beat SUNY at Binghampton.

Two things:

(1) Tremendous comeback by the Dolphins.

(2) It's a shame the Dolphins have sucked so bad in recent years that a wildly improbable performance like we saw today is *required*.

OMG ! What's gotten into the Dolphins ?! Throwing the ball all over the place, scoring points, beating good teams.

One gripe: Why does anyone play the 'prevent defense' ? The fins went soft while up 23-13 allowing SD to rocket down the field, setting themselves up for an onside kick recovery, which Miami fortuantely recovered. Play to the whistle man.

And to add insult to the injury, two Canes players were knocked unconcious in the postgame fracas. Total beatdown.
