Guys, what happened to the Heat? I thought for sure the game would have been closer than that. Miami must be careful and not allow Detroit to have momentum in Game 5 or they could steal one from the Heat.

i really wanted that game last night, but detroit just flat out played us. this series is now a very scary best of three. thankfully, miami gets 2 of the three at home.

as far as i'm concerned, tomorrow's game is a must win. don't wanna go back to detroit where they could win the series on their home court.

Detroit is a very good team...to deny that would be absurd.
Let's keep our hopes up for the Heat.

Game 7 in Miami! At least the Heat were smart and rested their starters even though that was a whopping to take in Detroit.

But I still do think they definately do have a chance... it all rides on the success of Wade (despite Shaq's dominance).
I predicted Miami would have serious problems if Wade isn't up to snuff, or not playing altogether. If Wade isn't close to 100% on Monday, Miami won't win. Let's hope the rest was worthwhile, & Miami can bounce back. They always tend to play well at home.

miami never loses 2 in a row,we only lost 2 in a row once in the regular season so i expect us to bounce back.

it all comes down to 1 game. it's exciting & terrifying at the same time. i'd feel a lot better about this game if Wade wasn't as hurt as he is. not to mention the other starting 4 are all banged up in some way.

should be a GREAT game.

Good game you guys. I think Miami played exceptionally. However, many people discredited the Pistons and their abilities. But, regardless, Miami played one of the best games I've seen.

For what it's worth, though I was pulling for the Heat, based on their recent past performance against the Pistons, I'm surprised they took this series to seven. I think they played a tough series, and that they are just a half-notch away from a championship team.

Spurs over the Pistons in six.

I hope the Spurs demolish the Pistons. They aren't good enough to deserve the title.

If they're not good enough to win the title, then what does that say about the team they just beat ? :)

whoa great game detroit you beat a team with 5 hurt starters, and what are you talking about all the espn analyst were talking about how detroit was going to beat us in 5 or 6 games.

now looking to the future get rid of eddie jones and that rediculous 8 year deal worth 80million dollars.......and lets get someone who can actually score when we need him to....also we need to sign shaq and wade to longterm deals and actually get a new bench

you're smoking something right?
you would rather earn a 5 seed and bow out in the 2nd roud?
the best record in the conference isn't good enough for you?
odom, grant and butler are obviously pushing the lakers over the top.

I hate whiny sports fans. The Heat had a great season and were one game away from the NBA finals. That's apparently not good enough for you.

Jones is fine and virtually untradeable. Next year should be just as fun. Players will be coming from all over just to play with Shaq and Wade.
