After worzil's post yesterday
"Soil testing yesterday and ABD Group had some sort of presentation today.
Presumably a groundbreaking ceremony, so it might be starting soon.
ABD have it as under construction on their website."
and Mark Baljak's posting of the first detailed render, I think it's safe to start a thread and list it as "u.c.". Mark's render is particularly welcome as ABD only have a partial render on their website and Fender Katsalidis don't have one at all on theirs. 18 Moray Street is just off City Road, on the corner of Catherine, and shares the block with CE's Main Point, Platinum and the future Palladium. It will be a dense little pocket in time.
This is kinda like a minature A108 isn't it, with the podium having exposed parapets festooned with greenery, then a glass tower rising above. Which is also the style of the podiums of West Side Place and Sapphire by the Gardens. That Hanging Gardens of Babylon look is so hawt right now.
I wondered about the name of the tree. They're increasingly popular in landscaping, as they're quite compact and have an interesting shape. There were a couple of healthy specimens planted beside The District's carpark in Docklands, but they've been removed to make way for the The Market development. I was hoping that they're the sort of tree which can be moved, as it would have been a pity to lose all those years of growth. Thanks, O, for updating the thread title.
