Otro estadio pequeño que ha tenido una gran remodelación ha sido El Alcoraz.
Another small stadium that had a big reform is El Alcoraz.

Pero aún no se ha acabado la reforma. En las esquinas y detrás de la tribuna general están haciendo palcos. Así está la esquina norte-tribuna principal y en la tribuna general.
But the reform hasn't finished yet. Some boxes are being built in the corners and in the general stand. The first photo shows the corner of the north and preferent stand and the second photo shows the general stand.

It's a shame that they did not or could not use this opportunity to increase the capacity by at least 4-5 thousand.
This magnificent stadium deserve it.

I think that it doesn't need to increase the capacity. It is only full when they play against Barça or Champions League important matches. Normally, the attendance is about 55.000-60.000 people.

Real Madrid could play the rest of the matches in the Alfredo di Stefano stadium, as the rest of the matches are door-closed and Bernabéu is in works. The stadium has the same dimesions as Bernabéu, so they haven't got any problem, and La Liga has accepted it.

Spanish basketball league will have a new format

No teams will be dropped. May 2 teams reach major league, next year there will be 20 teams.

There will be a special phase with 12th first teams before shutdown. Two groups of 6 teams as a league. Two first ones goes on, the rest will be out. Semifinal and Final in just one match, no play off will be played.

They will be hosted all of them in the same arena and without public.
Las Palmas has offered his pavilion for this league (33 matches) due to it is the zone with less infected people today

This is Gran Canaria arena

I visited at the end of January for the Levante game and its already unrecognisable! The speed of progress has been impressive.

It was a fantastic atmosphere and I hope they are able to retain that after the renovations.

The current works of the Ramón Sánchez Pizjúan. They are building new offices to host the Europa League final in 2021.
The works to improve the stadium started in 2015. This video shows the process of the stadium.

In the Ciutat de Valencia, they continue putting the posts to hold the roof. If they want to remove the old roof and build the new roof this summer, Levante couldn't play their matches here. But they haven't decided anything yet.

Question about the Levante Stadium : are they going to close to fill the gab on the stand behind the goal with extra seats or is it staying?

Finally they decided to play in another stadium and continue with the works in the stadium.
Levante requested Villarreal C.F. to play in their training ground (as Villarreal B played in the Second Division, it accomplish La Liga stadium rules). Villarreal has accepted the request, but now La Liga has to accept it. The stadium is 45-50 minutes by car from Ciutat de Valencia. This is the stadium:

If La Liga doesn't accept the request, they could go to Castalia (55 minutes by car from Ciutat de Valencia) and Rico Pérez (1 hour and 50 minutes by car from Ciutat de Valencia).
Castalia's home team is C.D. Castellón, it plays in Segunda B (third division) and they have to play the promotion play-off because they were 1st in their group.
Rico Perez's home team is Hércules C.F., it plays in Segunda B (third division) and they have finished the season.
