Purer Zucker. Überzuckert. So schlecht find ich die. So schlecht, dass sie schon wieder superschlecht sind. Nie wieder soll jemand so wohnen müssen. Erledigt die Entvölkerung teilweise eh von selbst. Ein paar von den sanierten Platten sehen für eine Zwischennutzung ganz wohnlich aus.

Beim Ostseeviertel habe ich immer geparkt, wenns zum Fischerfest mit Gaffelrigg nach Wieck ging. Kann ich sehr empfehlen! Ryck in Flammen ist klasse.

Ich bin ein Jahr später in den Block ganz rechts gezogen und hatte von der 13. Etage einen phänomenalen Blick über Dresden. Leider war das Umfeld zu krass für mich. Nach einem Jahr bin ich wieder ausgezogen, in eine WBS-Erdgeschosswohnung, wo nur Rentner lebten. Dort war es schön ruhig.

Stadtumbau in den Plattenvierteln: Plattenbauten lieber weg oder klein, dafür menschengerechte Wohnungen

In einem der berüchtigsten Plattenbauviertel des Ostens, dem Datzeberg in Neubrandenburg, geht eine Ära zu Ende.

Ganze Blocks weichen oder werden erheblich verkleinert, neue Mehrfamilienhäuser entstehen auf der schön gelegenen Anhöhe mit Blick über die Mecklenburger Stadt.

Wohngebiet auf dem Datzeberg soll aufgewertet werden

Es dauert noch drei Jahre, bis der Abrissbagger in der Kurzen Straße auf dem Neubrandenburger Datzeberg anrollt. Aber die Vision von einem attraktiven Wohngebiet soll schon vorher wahr werden. Der Ausblick zumindest ist unschlagbar.

Man könne allen, die auf dem Datzeberg bleiben wollen, „gute Möglichkeiten bieten“, verspricht Frank Benischke, Geschäftsführer der Neubrandenburger Wohnungsgesellschaft Neuwoges.

Der Leerstand in dem Block liegt inzwischen bei rund 20 Prozent. Im Vergleich zu anderen Stadtgebieten ist der Mieterschwund auf dem Datzeberg am größten. Dennoch findet die Neuwoges den Standort durchaus attraktiv. Daher sollen in der Kurzen Straße „qualitativ hochwertigere Wohneinheiten“ entstehen - mit großartigem Blick über die Stadt, in neuer, aufgelockerter Bebauung.

Wie das aussehen könnte, kann man bald nebenan in der Rethrastraße beobachten, wo seit 2009 kein Haus mehr steht. Einen Teil des erschlossenen Baulandes dort hat die Neuwoges an die Baufirma Gebrüder Reich aus Siedenbollentin veräußert. Im Frühjahr soll dort mit dem Bau von Mehrfamilienhäusern mit je sechs Wohneinheiten begonnen werden.

Ich bin ja ein Fan des sozialistischen Wohnungsbaus. Wenn es gut gemacht ist, würde ich so einen Wohnblock immer einem engen, stickigen Altbau vorziehen. Kann eh nicht so ganz verstehen, warum so viele auf Altbau stehen. So eine helle moderne Wohnung, am besten in einer höher gelegenen Etage mit Blick über die Stadt, ist schon was schönes.
Viele von den hier gezeigten wurden auch sehr hübsch renoviert. Wunderbar.
Schade nur, dass sie in Deutschland, bzw. in Westdeutschland so einen schlechten Ruf haben und viele Siedlungen eher in Richtung Ghetto gehen.

Ich finde vor allem in Russland, ist das noch wunderbar gemacht, wo in solchen Blöcken oft die verschiedensten Menschen friedlich nebeneinander leben, wo oft Ingenieure, Ärzte, usw. dort wohnen und in den Innenhöfen Spielplätze sind wo immer Kinder spielen, Schulen und Kindergärten nebenan, genauso Einkaufsmöglichkeiten.

Brasilien fällt mir auch noch ein, vor allem mit dem Paradebeispiel Brasilia.
