Does anybody know the total lenght of Serbian motorways and Serbian motorways under construction?
Well, lets provide a summary of the current situation when it comes to motorway construction in Serbia...

As far as on-going construction goes...currently, the biggest share of work is being carried out on the remaining sections of Corridor 10.

There are four main parts of it - the northern branch (Novi Sad - Horgos/HU border), Belgrade bypass, eastern branch Nis-Dimitrovgrad (BG border) and southern section Grabovnica-Levosoje (MK border).

During the past few weeks, a number of sections have been opened on the northern part of Corridor 10...another ~35km of Novi Sad-Horgos motorway remain to be opened by the first week of September plus the ~25km Subotica bypass by October.

km-km . . . date opened

00-28 . . . 15.07.2011
(Horgoš - Bikovo)
28-38 . . . 2009
38-50 . . . 20.07.2011
(Žednik - Bačka Topola)

50-71 . . . 15.08.2011
71-80 . . . 25.08.2011
80-85 . . . 05.09.2011

85-98 . . . 05.08.2011
(Srbobran - Sirig (Novi Sad))
98-108 . . 2009

Work is also currently being done on Belgrade's motorway ring road - specifically, on the 10km Batajnica-Dobanovci section as well as on the 6km Orlovaca-Avalski put section, along with a couple of tunnels & bridges along the path.

As for the south & east...on the road between Nis & border with Bulgaria, construction is at the moment concentrated along the easternmost part of this branch - with work being carried out on about ~22km of Pirot-Dimitrovgrad & Dimitrovgrad bypass sections.

Meanwhile, work is also ongoing on a short, ~8km section of the motorway towards Macedonia.

But motorway construction in Serbia is not confined solely to work on Corridor 10....a short 12km Ub-Lajkovac section of the future Belgrade-Bar motorway (aka Corridor 11) is also under construction as well as a 32km section from Vrbnica to Suva Reka in the southern province of Kosovo & Metohija, part of the future Nis-Pristina-Prizren- border with Abania motorway.

All in all, about ~150-160km of motorway are currently under construction in Serbia...optimistically, by late 2013 (realistically mid-2014), the country's motorway network should be about ~900km in length.

That light rail station looks cool, but I don't see any reasonable access points on the rendering...how are you supposed to get from the platform to the street?

Yesterday Slovenian newspaper "Delo" published an article in which claims that the chief architect of Ada Bridge is architect Peter Gabrijelčič, dean of the School of Architecture of the University in Ljubljana and the chief construction designer is Viktor Marklj from the construction bureau "Ponting" in Maribor. They won the international architectural competition in 2005.
