Beautiful. A dear friend of mine is a Canadian who has a thing for the Maritimes. Hopefully we'll go and visit one day.

St John's has nice cold summers, the way i like them :)
Despite its very 'northern' feel too it(spruce, firs, snow, etc) it is actually farther south the Paris, France and much further south then London. But it is much colder, especially in the spring.

Yeah, it can be cold, but generally, due to our proximity to the ocean, winter in Newfoundland is warmer than the mainland of Canada. Summer temps rarely reach thirty, but sometimes (days like today), the humidity can make it feel very, very warm.
