Specially Priced Preview Tickets for Fans Who Just Can’t Wait

The curtain is set to rise on the all-new Madame Tussauds Hong Kong next week with the celebrity waxworks attraction scheduled to celebrate its soft opening at The Peak on May 18 2006.

Following a six month renovation at a cost of HK$20 million, the world famous attraction will transport guests to the glittering world of celebrity over three expansive floors and five themed areas.

“The new look Madame Tussauds Hong Kong will “wow” guests with its total makeover as they will not only be able to meet their favorite idols but also do the things that famous people do. Guests can putt with Tiger Woods, shoot hoops with Yao Ming, dance on stage with Aaron Kwok and even step into a Rembrandt painting!” said Kelly Mak, Head of Marketing and Customer Service at Madame Tussauds Hong Kong.

The attraction features over 100 incredible wax likenesses of celebrities, world leaders and sports heroes, and will reopen with a glamorous and star studded line up such as Aaron Kwok, Liu Xiang, Tiger Woods, Cecilia Cheung, The Twins, Joey Yung and Bae Yong Joon.



Guests will journey through the attraction stopping to mingle with the stars in a range of themed settings including Hong Kong Glamour, Music Icons, Historical and National Heroes, The Champions and World Premiere.

“Madame Tussauds Hong Kong is an interactive and immersive entertainment experience where guests can be stars for a day. We are excited to present our new look attraction that is destined to become one of the most popular tourism destinations in Hong Kong,” said Kelly.

As part of the soft opening celebrations, Madame Tussauds Hong Kong will offer specially priced preview tickets from 18 May to 13 July.

Good news! I've always felt that HK Madame Tussauds was a bit outdated. :s And the tickets were way too expensive.
