If you are referring to the hobbit villa in Sandnes (with integrating in nature) then I have to say that projects like that are not common in Norway. In fact it is the only project of its type that I can think of in the country.

Here is a construction update from the surprisingly relaxed looking construction site of the Vindmøllebakken (which is apparently the name of the project rather than Vindmølleparken as I said previously) apartment project in Stavanger east. More renderings have also been released of the project. I think it looks quite nice. Very walk-able.

A new rendering have been released. I have to say I quite like this project. A good variation of designs and heights which I think will make it a quite pleasant place to even if not all of the individual buildings are that great looking.

Sales of apartments in the Øglendkvartalet project in Sadnes is said to start on the 5th of this month and new renderings have been released and a website have been launched in relation to that. Although these two renderings depict the development from other angles, we can see enough to conclude that the development was probably re-designed during the planning process. I don't mind as I always thought it was the variation rather than the individual designs that was the strong point of the development and that have been retained. I also like the brick "infills" that been added to the street walls.

What would be a shame however was if that green colour was dropped from the project as I very much liked it.
