No, that chunk of land across the river from Baker Field is part of New York County (Manhattan).

Marble Hill was once surrounded by a creek that branched off the Harlem River. It was filled in, but the county borders have remained the same.

Politically, Marble Hill is part of Manhattan even though it phyiscally resembles its Bronx neighbors, but Inwood is sort of similar to that as well.

And I thought I knew everything about my hometown. Thanks for the wisdom boys, I should have read the entire page before posting.


By the way, you can see why I thought it was the Bronx.

ya forgotten NY is really interesting. I spent hours on it. It gives you a much better understanding of the city outside of Manhattan.
