This will be the first time in 5years I will be missing summer fest, I have to go to NYC for work :(
I'm sad to hear it, and do feel bad for you. :eek:hno:

They actually have a great music lineup this year. For the 40th Anniversary, so far they're doing things right. Any bulletin boards up for this yet in Chicagoland?

I have to agree with Brew. Chicago's summertime offerings are unparralleled anywhere in the US and perhaps the world. But we get the benefit of the nation's single biggest music festival with Summerfest right in our back yard, too. Nice combo.

I've lived in quite a few big cities in the summer. Doesn't get any better than Chicago.

And if you've got a problem with Chicagoans taking pride in their city, you might find yourself happier in any forum not labeled . . . "Chicago."
