I was there the Day after Hurricane Andrew Hit Homestead Air Force Base on August 25th, 1992, with Winds that Year Destroyed all Weather winds Recording Machines that only went to 155 M.P.H. and all the Wind Machines were MAXED when they were Knocked Out at 4 am, that August 24th Morning at the BASE, and Hurricane Andrew did not make landfall till 4:32 AM that Morning, Many at the Miami Hurricane Center in West Miami-Dade/F.I.U. still Say Hurricane Michael Last Year was NOT the Over 165 M.P.H. Winds of Hurricane Andrew that destroyed Every F- 14 and F -15 inside a Concrete Thick walls of the Air Force Base Hungar , and knocked the Walls down, and the roof was cleared off, and the whole building was Leveled,
Let's Hope to God , this never happens again, Sunny Isles Beach was spared that time with Tons of Sand covering all of A.1.A. up to a Foot of Sand ,and the Sunny Isles Blvd was closed the Day after.
Hurricane Andrew made Landfall over 70 Miles to the South in the City of Homestead .:angel1:
