SYD - Penrith panthers to become second largest Casino in the world

i dont much info at the moment but Penrith panthers is closing all its night club areas (starlights etc) and converting into one masive casino and building a large westfield style shopping centre behind ajoining the complex :eek2:

could be true, the biggest one in the states is in conneticut i think, so anything could be true;p

World's largest is currently Foxwood's in Connecticut ... when rated on square feet...

BUT

The Crown casino - Melbourne opened on the 9th May 1997. It is the largest in the world(measured by number of gaming tables), with 350 tables and 2500 machines.

Im not a big fan of casinos, they are tacky, if Panthers is more focused on the Entertainment Complex side of things then yeah COOL! But just to have 100 billion pokies to make it the 2nd largest casino aint very exciting.

Are we talking about the franchise or head corporation of Panthers? Because we have a Panthers in Port Macquarie, but it sure as hell is not that great. So is "Panthers" the biggest club cumulatively, like when you combine all their clubs?

I think Penrith Panthers is the largest registered sports club in the world. Panthers is a good thing it has good facilities and brings amenity to the area IMO.

Apart from owning Australia's current national rubgy league champions, the Panthers Entertainment Group operates Australia's largest chain of licensed clubs across 13 venues. Panthers has almost 150,000 registered members.

I've known about the panthers plans for years. A few years back it was reported that Star City Casino's monopoly will end in 2007 and the state government will issue another casino licence for Sydney, which panthers is expected to get.

It's the only casino permitted to trade in Sydney.

It has nothing to do with copyright!!!! Copyrights are more related towards property.

And each state and territory has it's own regulations regarding Casino's. For Sydney/NSW, there can only be one casino at present.

They should include an Indoor Water Park with there plans...that would be cool. Oh and an indoor Ski Field, and maybe a rollercoaster too. Then i will be excited.
