hey guys,
rule no 1- please limit the size of your photo to size of a screen! (eg 1000x750px)
much nicer to look at then to wait 5mins and then have to scroll around screen.

It's imageshack again :bash:. I uploaded that to a size of 800 by 600.
There is no where else where I can host my photos atm. apart from imagestation which only allow small pix.

photobucket (easy to use, automatic img tags) and flickr (very generous upload and storage limits) are both really useful.

BTW, nice pics here and in the archive everyone.

Fabian, I resive my pictures first before uploading them. That way I have control of the resizing process and am sure of the results before posting.

^^ there are countless apps that can do it - one of the simplest is Micrsoft Image Editor which ships with XP (the qulaity sometimes is not first class but is still FINE for posting on the internet).

Just remember to save as so you don't resize the original - i add "_LORES" to the end of the file name.

Fabian's one of oscrapers better photograpers. But all shots look better if they can be viewed without scrolling. :D

...I have a 'resize' folder into which I save them before uploading.

I'm currently resizing my pics to 800 wide for landscape orientated shots and 600 wide for portrait.

This equates to 800 x 533 or 600 x 900

That's such a great pic, Cul - the first one especially.
I love how WT stands at the end of the street - very Gotham City.

PS. Don't these old buildings look so much better at street level without those bloody awnings so common in Melbourne. I wish they'd get rid of them down there!

dang! the glass had to be custom made to be curved so well! I guess they have so much sand in dubai, it is cheaper to create it.

I doubt its curved glass, you can see each pane angled a little different!

the original Grace Bldg was to have a 50m tower above totalling 100m high, would of been tallest in Australia
