I noticed that Kalitta Air (CKS232) landed in SYD from LAX last night late and after curfew at 00:02 with their B777LR/F N772CK. Question is, do they cop a fine from the government for breaching curfew? Does anyone know?
So an hour after curfew, so they would have known when the aircraft left LAX, plenty of time to organize a dispensation. Usual requirements, land on 34L, no reverses thrust, I doubt anyone heard it. Aircraft don’t land without a dispensation, it’s cheaper to divert to melbourne or brisbane.

The 767F is a regular in normal times, but not the 787-10 - or any Singapore Airlines 787 for that matter.
Singapore airlines only has the -10 in their fleet. But yeah the -10 isn’t a regular here but it has been the past few weeks.

From another forum, it looks like UL will launch freight services to SYD. If true will be interesting to see if they stick around post-Covid and operate long awaited PAX flights.

SriLankan Airlines completed their inaugural Colombo-Sydney service this afternoon, although with the COVID-19 Pandemic, this was a cargo only flight. Airbus A330-200 4R-ALB completed the 9,032km ALK606 sector in 9hr 45min, touching down on Sydney Airport’s Runway 16R at 1540L.
