some more detail of the DA..

In summary, this Stage 2 DA seeks approval for:

 Demolition of existing structures on the site, excluding Porter House, the existing
Heritage listed building at 203 Castlereagh Street;

 Construction of a 36 storey mixed use tower with a 9 storey podium comprising:

 Ground floor commercial, vehicle entrance, residential lobby, hotel lobby and

Hotel from Levels 1 to 8 including the use of Porter house as a hotel. 124 hotel rooms; and

Residential Units from Levels 9 to 34. 187 residential apartments

 A four (4) level basement car park with a further four (4) levels of mechanical stack

 Vehicular access to the proposed basement from Bathurst Street.

What's this then?????

DA lodged 23 December

116 Bathurst Street SYDNEY NSW 2000
Signage, shopfront alterations and internal fit-out of Ground Floor and Part Level 1 to existing commercial space for ANZ Bank branch including new entry, customer service offices and tellers, ATM's, staff amenities, safe room and intra-tenancy stair.

Has the somewhat unloved design for this site been put in the Maybe Later Box?
