Now Turkey will start to produce high speed train with the coproduction of Korea in Eskişehir. Agreement is signed up with the Korean company and the trains will have high speed over 300 km/h.

But also Turkey won't inport the rails anymore, because Eskişehir factories will produce the rails.

Here are the all railway projects

I am sure next project will be Bursa-Izmir, but first Eskişehir-Ankara must be openned in this fall...
Bandırma-İzmir won't be the high speed line, but, the line is coming to Bursa first and then it is easy to costract a new line between Bursa and İzmir. It is neccessarily imo, not only for İzmir, for whole Aegean Region...
actually the short distance low speed (80-100-150 km) lines on my mind. Antalya regional rail, Muğla Regional rail, Thrace rail (Istanbul Tekirdağ, Malkara, Keşan- Edirne, Keşan, Gelibolu- İstanbul, Çorlu, Kırklareli, Edirne)...These are what I have on my mind now. Thrace is so suitable for 150 km trains.
^^ yes it will be..And new train staton will be wonderful. But I like those old stsyles too. I don't know, imo both of them must be used for different things. When new one starts to operate, the old ne shouldn't be closed... They are classic stations and tells the railway history of all Balkans. Even in Greece, at many place they use this Turkish made, Turkish style train stations...
Nobody said, but we guess and I guess it will be messiah. If it goes to Konya, why not Kayseri after Ankara...
And also, if it is not projected at list if there is no idea like this. Why they are going to build such a station now. It is too much for Kayseri maybe, but enough for HST...

annimation of HST of Turkey. As you will see there are two kinds of trains. One kind is the train we will buy from Spain (250 km/h) other is Turkish Korean cooperation (350 km/h)

Tekir, our problem is the process before the construction, we could hear about HST many many years ago and subject was popular. However they couldn't start the construction. And when they finially started the construction, it pschyologically seemed the works will last many years, but amazingly it goes so fast.

Ankara airport is like this, Marmaray was like this, Galaport will be like this (they couldn't start ), North Marmara Highway will be like this

ps: I don't mean the works of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality,I mean "the Turkey generla projects-Cause Istanbul Municipality has problem at the each stage of the works
