Wow, this is like the 3rd mall scheme in this area....all of them seem to be struggling to get off the ground. Good to see though that there is a lot of activity and interest in the area!!

It is amazing how fast the Sunningdale area has been growing, as well as having Dunoon on your doorstep which has some serious population density.

Then, with the huge expected (imminent) growth in Saldanha that N7 is going to get seriously busy with a lot of CT business and families/employees/labour/staff commuting up there regularly....who would all def love a stop over in a big fancy mall along the way!! A prime site!!

But Atlantic Mall is supposed to be a little further up the N7 near Atlas Gardens? From what you're saying, it sounds like you're referring to the huge plot of land bordered by Bothasig, the N7/refinery, Richwood and Burgundy Estate. Atlantic Mall is supposed to be on the other side of Richwood in what's being referred to as Annandale Ridge.

This thread is referring to this....

"Sunningdale’s status as a major West Coast suburb has received another boost with the proposed new regional shopping centre on the intersection of Berkshire Boulevard and the West Coast Road. The centre, with a gross lettable area (GLA) of 65 000m2, is on a 20ha site that has been sold by Garden Cities to Zenprop, who will develop it.

The new shopping centre, Table Bay Mall, will be tenanted by all the major national retailers, and is expected to become a community hub with food and entertainment in the mix. It is about 2.5km north of Sunningdale’s local retail mall, West Coast Village.

The access to the centre off the West Coast Road will be marked by vehicle slipways framing landscaped wetland systems that will add to the aesthetic appeal of the intersection with Berkshire Boulevard."

....Its not near the refinery and the "on off ramps" referred to by a previous poster are the vehicle slipways. The renders show houses opposite the shopping centre and there are no houses near that area he referred to.
