: மதுரையில் போக்குவரத்து நெரிசலை தவிர்க்க நான்கு இடங்களில் உயர்மட்ட மேம்பாலங்கள் அமைக்க விரிவான திட்ட அறிக்கை தயாரிப்பில் மாநில நெடுஞ்சாலைத்துறை அதிகாரிகள் ஈடுபட்டுள்ளனர்.

ரூ.900 கோடி மதிப்பிலான இப்பணிகளுக்கு அரசு ஒப்புதல் வழங்கியுள்ளது.பெரியார் பஸ் ஸ்டாண்ட் முதல் மேல, வடக்கு வெளி வீதிகள் வழியாக சிம்மக்கல் வரையும், கோரிப்பாளையம் சந்திப்பு, அண்ணா பஸ் ஸ்டாண்ட் முதல் ஆவின், மேலமடை சந்திப்புகள் வழியாக பாண்டிகோயில் ரிங்ரோடு வரையும், மாட்டுத்தாவணி லேக்வியூ ஏரியா முதல் மாவட்ட நீதிமன்றம் அருகிலுள்ள அரசு விரைவு போக்குவரத்து கழகம் வரையும் உயர்மட்ட மேம்பாலங்கள் தலா ரூ.200 கோடிக்கும் அதிக மதிப்பில் அமைக்கப்படவுள்ளன.

இதற்கு அரசு ஒப்புதல் வழங்கியுள்ளது. இதுகுறித்து மாவட்ட, மாநகராட்சி, போலீஸ் அதிகாரிகளுடன் நெடுஞ்சாலைத்துறையினர் பல கட்ட ஆலோசனைகளை நடத்தியிருக்கின்றனர். தற்போது விரிவான திட்ட அறிக்கை தயாரிப்பில் நெடுஞ்சாலைத்துறையினர் ஈடுபட்டுள்ளனர்.மண்டல கண்காணிப்பு பொறியாளர் செந்தில் கூறியதாவது: நகரில் நெரிசலை குறைக்கவும், முக்கிய சந்திப்புகளை வாகனங்கள் எளிதில் கடந்து செல்லவும் இப்பாலங்கள் கட்டப்படவுள்ளன. ஆர்ஜிதம் செய்யப்பட வேண்டிய நிலங்களையும் கணக்கெடுத்து வருகிறோம்.

திருப்பரங்குன்றம் ரோட்டிலுள்ள மதுரைக்கல்லுாரி பாலம் ரூ.12 கோடியில் புதுப்பிக்கப்பட்டு பலப்படுத்தப்படும். விரைவில் இப்பணிகள் துவங்கும் என்றார். கோட்ட பொறியாளர் பிரசன்னவெங்கடேசன் உடனிருந்தார்.

  • 6.4km Elevated Corridor along PN Road (SH-196) in Tiruppur
  • 5.4km Elevated Corridor along Perundurai Road (SH-96) in Erode
  • Elevated Corridor from Chinthamani Anna Statue to Trichy junction
  • Periyar to Sethupathi school flyover
  • Jeyavilas Bus Depot to Avaniyapuram periyar statue flyover
  • Nagercoil town flyover
  • 3km Pallipalayam Elevated Corridor along Tiruchengode-Erode Road (SH-79)

There is 6Km elevated road proposed in Vellore as well.
Yep. Missed it. It seems Vellore has been big plan for elevated roads since all the roads from sagayam to katpadi are narrow and highly commercialised.

4 section of corridors each for a length of around 3km is being planned.

I am not sure how this proposal (Elevated corrider for Trichy Chindamani to Trichy Jn ) has been made.
Mostly the proposed stretches in other city's are single stretches from one end to another end but this proposed route is not a single stretch and it's mixed of 4/2 lanned and has to to cross Trichys most congested areas like Gandhi market and Palakarai.
We need to see the DPR for this proposal to even understand how it's possible to execute the elevated corrider .

instead of such not feasible proposals they could have plan the elevated corrider in Palpannai to Thuvakudi or upto BHEL which already having service road issue . Thus elevated corridor would solve all the issues in that stretch.

May be Thallakulam to Goripalayam stretch.. It was discussed early.. Joining 7.8km elevated natham flyover along with goripalayam flyover 1.8km+vaigai river existing bridge combined with 10kms+, going to be south india's longest elevated road flyover..

Along with this bridge in vaigai, Periyar to yaanikal bridge also proposed... So from Periyar bus stand it's going to start...

Why is that right turn allowed in this flyover? Is it permanent or temporary(till the completion of service roads below)?
Initially they didn't allowed the right turn. Its temporarily allowed by removing the medians.
