Veta Teacher invents automated driverless boat with sensitive capabilities
Dar es Salaam. Authority and Vocational Training (Veta) unveils automated boats without skipper which has the ability to send intelligence reports to protect themselves against attack or damage that may be done by people with bad intentions.
Speaking during the 38th Exhibition of International Trade Dar es Salaam (DITF) in Parks Mwalimu Julius Nyerere in here yesterday,
the inventor of the machine, Immanuel Bukuku said that it took six months to achieve the creation of such machines.
He said the same invention has been accompanied by trials which have been made in Kigamboni Coast and has shown great success and is ready for use with cameras are available for examination.
"Innovation has been completed and the boat is ready for use and stakeholders are invited for supporting the realization of the manufacture of most other boats," he said, adding that the boats that will be made and other future machines will be part specific.
Bukuku who is a teacher in the Science and Technology at the University Veta Chang'ombe said he discovered that boats which are made using materials and environmentally friendly sea and solar system uses a machine to generate electricity.
"It has the ability to feel the presence of the person or entity its neighborly position to provide information in areas where is relevant, also has the ability to launch an attack with the barrel and has great potential in terms of defense and security," he said.
He also has managed to make jet engine which has proved largely successful and whenever it can be used with such success is being driven largely by Veta plan to become chief maker.
"There are a lot of machines and technology that unveiled here, is a good sign and we hope that more discoveries that followed from many studies showing signs of success," he said, adding that the unit has propelled Veta change the entire direction right now.
