The rains are in Metro Manila and the southern provinces. Laguna, Batangas, Rizal. So far, kaunti lang ulan sa Tarlac.

There is still a good chance to complete by Aug. 15 but the schedule is really tight, especially for asphalting and one bridge. We are also hoping that there will be no problem with the testing of the toll collection system.

Central Toll Barrier. In the foreground, you can see the entry lanes with the automatic ticket dispenser. In the back, you can see the exit lanes.



Exit toll booth. On the roof, you can see the colored indicators for the class of vehicle.

Exit devices. You can see the LED sign that will indicate the amount paid and Class. Then there is the traffic light to tell the motorist when to go. The rotating light with alarm when a violation is detected. The camera to take a photo of the departing vehicle when there is a violation. The light curtain to determine the tail of the exiting vehicle so that the barrier can go down.



Dual asphalt pavers at Tarlac, near Gerona. These 2 pavers are doing about 900 meters per day, 2 lanes. There are 5 more pavers, all doing work at the same time.

At the first pic, at the foreground side is that coming from southbound?
Automatic yung pagkuha ng ticket ala NLEX.

yup yun talaga ang start nun. actually mabilis na yan dahil may base course na, kung hindi iyan gagawing 4 lanes kahit graba wala yan dapat, damo iyan pero dahil may base course, lalagyan ng aspalto. up to Urdaneta City ang confirmed na 4 lanes, the section after that, hindi pa sure.

at saka mabilis maglagay ng aspalto once the base course is already there.

I guess mas mahaba ang Bued viaduct kaysa sa Agno viaduct.
I wanted to see the scenery of crossing a wide river with mountains of the background.

guys, kamusta na kaya yung Urdaneta to Rosario section? may developments na ba?
Tagal naman ng study ng financial viability ng realignment kaya onhold.
Balik na ba ang ROW acquisition sa section 2?
There was a report early this year na magcoconstruct ang LGU ng Rosales ng Rosales Bypass Road na magiging exit from Carmen Interchange to MNR/SM Rosales, on going na ba ito?

Not sure what you mean. The Gerona-Paniqui section is about 6 km. The northbound section is mostly mostly paved up to binder or asphalt-treated base. The southbound section is at base course and a new contractor has mobilized 2 pavers. If the weather is favorable, asphalting can be completed in about a month.

Mostly yung 2 out of 4 lanes of phase 1B ay almost completed (binder/asphalt treated base)?
Yung Gerona-Paniqui segment can be opened before the year ends also 4 lanes?

When Section 1 is fully operational next year, full blast na ba ang construction of Section 2 & 3?
