DTPC is now leading the development of Block D in the next phase of Dube City. This mixed-use development encompassing 34 000m² of bulk will consist of a 172-bed hotel, 15 000m² of offices and 2 500m² retail on the ground floor.

UNDERGROUND BASEMENT PARKING

DTPC will be designing and constructing underground basement parking, with
approximately 500 parking bays. Design and procurement of the double
basement will begin in June 2012 and construction will commence April 2013 and be completed in early 2014.

DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES

DTPC is looking for developers to develop a hotel and/or offices on the site.
The development will surround a vibrant public space which will link in with Dube Square which was complete in March 2012. The entire precinct at Dube City will be a fully serviced high quality, pedestrian-oriented and landscaped environment, and will provide an efficient, convenient, comfortable and safe
business platform."

Looks good.....

Could easily be in Umhlanga NTC though.. the design seems like it would fit there very well as well.

Well render undersell the beauty of the scheme, but i think its gonna shine like the Allan Gray building in Cape Town. Just needs to be built properly

This one took a few u-turns in terms of whose going to build it, it was Dube, then Private investor took over, then Dube wanted to do just the basement level but now Dube has taken over the entire development again. Tender is currently out for the building, the basement tender falls under a different contract.
