way too big and "in your face" , especially when yoo of the are beside each other and sadly NO green space to soften it up; really said that they tear gardens to build grey concrete giants and with all that money not plant 2 trees

the other ones in the link are much better ..they have to balance these
i remember posting the same link a year or two ago and not much has changed , any one know any new BAM projects?

i really like this
for some reason i find these much more appealing than some glass towers
if they use the solid facades nicely like they did hear, it looks very nice
simple and elegant with a modern tone , yet it looks very retro and "natural" , heavy look
it doesnt try to shout
this is what i mean by simple white cubic facades

He is one the most famous architects in Iran who has built so many good projects in Tehran and still designing very good projects. so i thought we should start this thread
there is so many projects so i start with this 2 which are very good IMO

some of these are so hideous it makes me cringe like the amethis and 4bagh
so they will build an out of proportion overly adorned building beside these?:


sepas migan chera shahraye ma hardambilian , khob hamine dige
there is no flow, its chunky
then 2 streets down u have this
:
an esfahani style mosque or emamzadeh




they should build simple stuff like this if they are going to follow more european styling,
this is the best building in the whole thread, it doesnt look fake or like its trying to hard


but those overly detailed 4bagh stuff really arent suitable for tehran or any other place really
such things would be so out of place even in paris and milan

what is the ultimate point or plan of the city or these builders?
to make tehran like this?

if the answer is YES well then (regardless of if its appropriate or not) , it will never be like this anyway, and if they are planning to do this why done they do it in a place with less gardens, and, why dont they actually use proper architectural designs and proportions rather than unrealistic ones

if the answer is NO which it is, then WHY build in such unharmonized form?
