Location: East Ayalon CBD
Floors: 48
Height: 170m (558ft)
Developer: Union Motors Ltd.

A new tower on the lot behind Electra tower, that will surpass the towers in height. The lot currently holds the Lexus service center.

City hall approved the tower on its latest city council meeting (page 78)

Not much renders to this one, found only an old one. we'll have to wait and see how this one folds.

This further underlines the need for a fourth Ayalon track and increasing train's service frequency along it.
Since that part of town is not getting a light rail line, Ayalon corridor seems like the obvious choice for serving its transportation needs.
Also this makes it more viable to add another train station at Aluf Sadeh interchange like it was once planned.

They must increase the number of poeple living in the Montefiore area, as well around the east Ayaolon, and build a pedestrian and bike bridge (Calatrava where are you?) connecting both sides of Ayalon, because we are talking about 600m walking distance from the Sarona area...

So far I only saw works on Sdeorth Yehudit side, and the site doesn't look paritcularly impressive.
The most I could see is a single excavator doing "something" and a handful of construction workers.
Really (except the bridige itself which should be manufactured offsite and transported to the location), the construction process should take just a few months.
In reality (from what we know), the construction will take 3 years which is a travesty for such a small project.

Since the yellow line is canceled, maybe extending the purple line into a circular one could solve the problem. with stations all across Yigal Alon st.

Sound like a nice plan, and Igal Alon indeed will be packed in the future.
However, if you look closely on the map, you`ll see that a significant part of your extension runs in parallel (more or less)
to the red line, mostly north to Yehudit blvd.
After the Yehudit bridge will be completed for instance, it will take 10 minutes max to get from Yehusit station to Igal Alon st.
