I've already driven the new 15-mile segment of the Grand Parkway tollway on two trips from Austin to central Houston. I really enjoyed the traverse along the new route. I use it to cut across to I-10 from 290 and then go on into central Houston. Sure beats 290 into Houston, which is a shorter but a white-knuckle and dangerous route.
