Some trash to the left that will soon go. Ideally be replaced with something of a similar density but different style, though I think the black building looks heritage and will stay. And in that regard, thumbs up to the developer who didn't just put in a blank eastern wall when, inevitably, next door will be built out.
I read on Vernon Tava that the developer of this also owns one of the sites right next door and is doing another apartment block. Could be a pretty good street once some of those crappy buildings go.
Yes, it’s unfortunate but all too common in Auckland. Views aren’t that important but buildings should have a bit of separation between them for light/privacy. That’s much more relevant to #densitydonewell than other things.
