Rotterdam would have been a much more sensible candidate than Amsterdam (very nice skyline versus a very meagre skyline).

Anyways, out of the ones you selected, in my opinion Frankfurt and Paris have the most mature and impressive skylines. London and Warsaw are the runner-ups with loads of potential to bridge the gap.
Yes, [email protected]

I forgot Rotterdam :bash: Sorry!

I added it, but I can not add it to the poll, maybe a Mod ist able to do that.... whould be nice.
Please include Moscow in the poll
Please include Moscow in the poll
Moscow isn't really a part of the European Union, is it ;)
paris wins, imo.

frankfurt so far second. the pic of frankfurt is old though .... some towers are missing ...

see the difference?

the imposing canary wharf in london is probably a better london contender than the mediocre city of london skyline.

also a contender ... den haag

dars-dm ... this poll is about cities in the EU ;)

I would remove Essen from the poll and put The Hague instead.
I agree with you that Hague is missing (I forgot it too :bash: I am very sorry :( ) but Essen has a Skyline like Amsterdam, so I think Essen is worth enough to be in this poll.

(but maybe Madrid or/and Cologne should be removed)
Oh dude, not again.

How many of those crapthreads around SSC? Some zillion at least.
I would say Paris though and soon to be Madrid or Rotterdam. London could have a much more impressive modern skyline if they kept the tall ones cluttered together.
I will go with Frankfurt! It looks the most futuristic to me! And the Ural Mountains are the diving line in Russia between Europe and Asia, so Moscow is a European city.
guys, no one says moscow isn't part of europe. but this is about the european union only - moscow is not part of the EU (tirana neither)

@ philladweller: the last picture is not brussels. it's paris ...
Yes, moscow in this poll ... :eek:hno:

Moscow is part of europe but not part of the European Union. Like Mexico City is a part of America but not a part of the United States of America.

I'm surprised (and happy!) to see Liverpool is in this poll. Liverpool has a beautiful skyline, despite it not being tall, or spread out, because of the mersey & the mix of new and old. The pictures above don't do it justice, perhaps these will:-

this one is taken with a web cam on a dreary, wet day.

when the cruise liners visit the skyline looks awesome:-
