so... i spose its good to see something in the UAE outside Dubai
OH MY>
Isn't this strange 'Mine is bigger than yours' need of UAE a bit of a sign of insecurity? Ah well... looks cool anyway.
Looks interesting, it's good it's in Abu Dhabi, cause everythin else is in Dubai. Not bad 27 mins for one revolution.
sees like one part of the project is a tower
look at all the balconies!

a residential tower and a wheel in one structure, that's cool!
whats next, the worlds biggest dinosaur or maybe the worlds biggest ice machine.

uae sure has ***** envy,or just wants to be the biggest at everything.\

still wouldn't mind seeing this when its done,i wonder if you can see burj dubai from this thing.
coll, i think for Dubai they will need a higer one because of the skyscrapers :D
Nice design. but honestly, what is thier to see in Abu-Dhabi ... any historical monuments? palaces? famous sites to tourist folk?

It just doesnt seem plausable
What a bizarre design, the Montreal Olympic stadium meets the London Eye!

This will rank as one of the really dumb projects proposed in this era, it would be incredibly questionable to waste the world's resources building anything as ridiculous as this! Who is the great mind behind this?

Whoever it is are bloody stupid ... why would anyone pay £20 or whatever to spend half of the trip looking out onto the ocean and the rest, to a desert. :sleepy:

the redesigned cornice
al nayan mosque (one of the world's largest)
emirates palace hotel (world's 2nd 7-star hotel)
several malls
downtown
(those who live in abu dhabi could give us a better list)

and with all the stuff being built it will soon have many things to visit

the emirates dubai & abu dhabi geographically grow together more and more
distance to dubai is a 1-hour drive, but there will be a high-speed rail system to be announced over the next months, linking the gulf countries

Why is in a completly different place in some of the renderings?

In most it's out to sea but in some it's on the mainland.
