So to understand correctly, of all medieval church type towers in the UK without spires, the Boston Stump is the tallest to the pinnacle/ridgetop of the roof. Do you also count the battlements/finials in the height measurement? (I notice too the lantern with its battlements and particularly the flying buttresses have incredible structural design and detailing which must be early/mid 16thC though no doubt have been repaired/restored since.)
