Nizhny Tagil Is an industrial capital of the Urals,in the city there are about 120 large plants,including giants such plants as Nizhny Tagil metallurgical plant and Uralvagonzavod,which produces tanks"Armata" and T-90.
The population of Tagil together with the suburban area(the Mining district) is 700 thousand people.
In Tagil has its waterfront ,where many chic restaurants and hotels,it is called Tagilskaya lagoon.
In Nizhny Tagil many sports clubs and sports complexes,two of the Ice Palace(where the youth world Championships in hockey),there are two hockey teams Companion,who play in the Higher hockey League,Tagil raised players like Radulov,Shepelev,Gusev,Openers,there are sports Palace "Forum-Metallurgist",where he plays the famous women volleyball team Uralochka ,led by coach Karpol of Russia.
In Nizhny Tagil has a basketball team "Old Соболь" and football team "Ural",two players which Shatov and Kanunnikov play in the national team of Russia on football.
In Tagil have the Olympic complex of springboards,where every year it hosts the world Cup .
