"The city of the Palaces"

I made this thread to show the beautiful architecture of the city of Mexico, if there is already a thread like this, excuse me but I love my hometown show

In the first decade of the nineteenth century, Baron Alexander von Humboldt named the City of Mexico, "City of Palaces". This thread is to show the reason for that nickname

Very nice indeed. BTW "The city of palaces" was the opinion of a European noble man referring to the magnificent buildings that abounded rather than comparing them to "palaces" in Europe. So that you know. More pixs please. Thanks.

City of palaces= St Petersburg. But nice classy architecture in Mexico though
